8 K-Beauty Skincare Products That You Need This Winter

As the weather transitions into the ice-cold winter, your skin might become more dry or irritated as a result of the change in temperature and the harsh winds. It’s sometimes a good idea to switch up your skincare routine by adding products that will help you hydrate your skin. Your face will thank you!

Here’s a look at some great K-beauty products that might be worth investing in these next winter months.

1. Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil

If you’re looking for a good cleansing oil to remove all of your make-up at the end of the night without having to irritate your dry skin, this product is a godsend. It effortlessly removes all your make-up, even that stubborn eye-liner, and does it so gently. It somehow moisturizes your skin while removing make-up. Perfect for the winter months when your skin is extra dry!

2. Make P:rem Black Cleansing Foam

This is the perfect cleanser for all seasons, and it’s especially great for the winter, as it doesn’t strip away your natural oils. The best part of this cleanser is that a really small amount goes a long way. It can be used at night following your oil cleansing step, or if you don’t wear makeup, you can use it alone. It’s so gentle and great for sensitive skin that you won’t ever have to use another cleanser.

3. Son and Park Beauty Water

This has been my go-to toner for awhile now. Although I’ve tried many other toners, Son and Park Beauty Water is perfect for hydrating my very dry skin. It also cleanses all impurities and keeps your face bright and smooth. It also helps that Son and Park are popular in the Hallyu circle, as they are known to have been makeup artists for Jun Ji Hyun and Sandara Park.

4. COSRX One Step Moisture Up Pad

These pads can be used as a replacement for a toner. It not only hydrates your skin, but it also gently exfoliates any impurities. Another bonus is that it creates an amazing canvas for any makeup that you might be putting on the mornings. You’ll notice when you don’t use this product as your skin might not feel as dewy or glow as much throughout the day!

5. Make P:rem Safe Relief Cream

I had just started using this cream a couple months ago and it’s slowly becoming one of my favorite K-beauty creams! The one thing that drew me to the product at first was the fact that it contains only 12 ingredients, highlighting the fact that it’s free of all those bad chemicals that your skin can do without. Although it’s a bit more on the pricier side, it’ll definitely do a good job of moisturizing your skin during the cold winter months.

6. Innisfree Eco Safety Perfect Sunblock (spf 50)

It took me awhile to realize how important it was to put sunblock on my face, even during the winter! I’ve used this sunblock for many years now and it hasn’t let me down. It doesn’t leave a white cast after applying and is also perfect for acne-prone or sensitive skin. Make sure you don’t forget to protect your face in the winter!

7. COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask

If you’re too lazy for sheet masks and you just want to go straight to bed after you wash-up, this overnight honey mask is your answer! You put it on your face as the last step in your skincare routine. It may seem too sticky and thick to go to bed,  but it’s actually got a very liquid-like consistency and won’t interfere with you going to sleep. You’ll wake up with your skin feeling so smooth and hydrated! A must-have product for the winter!

8. SKINFOOD Avocado & Sugar Lip Scrub

The thing I detest the most about the winter is how my lips take such a beating. They become so chapped and rough that it’s sometimes hard for even my best lipbalms to handle. Ever since I stumbled onto this lip scrub a couple months ago, I haven’t been able to go without it for more than few days. You can do this step at any point in your skincare routine, but I like to do it after I cleanse my face. You’ll see the results right away. As soon as you wash off the scrub, your lips are so smooth!

Happy skin-caring, everyone!
