Watch: "MIXNINE" Contestants Shed Tears As Competition Escalates In New Preview

In the second preview video of JTBC’s “MIXNINE,” tension builds up as contestants shed sweat and tears to be included in the next Top 9.

After 71 contestants were sent home in the first round of eliminations, the remaining contestants will be competing in a “formation battle.” In this mission, the contestants will be teamed in groups chosen by the current Top 9, and will only be competing against each other within the same gender pool. The male teams will only compete against male teams, and the female teams only against female teams.

The trainees cheer and shout as they watch each others’ energetic performances, but also tear up as the pressure to reach the top intensifies.

The upcoming eighth episode of “MIXNINE” will air on December 17 at 4:50 p.m. KST.
