"Money Flower" Records An Impressive All-Time High In Viewership Ratings
MBC’s weekend drama “Money Flower” achieved its highest viewer ratings yet, surpassing its previous record from last week.
Nielsen Korea revealed the December 16 broadcast of “Money Flower” recorded 11.7 and 17.2 percent for its 11th and 12th episodes, respectively.
“Money Flower” previously reached 16.7 percent with its 10th episode, which aired last week on December 9.
The December 16 broadcast showed Na Mo Hyun (played by Park Se Young) as the center of a tragedy as she became involved in the political connection and issue of succession for Chunga Group. However, Na Mo Hyun also discovers that Kang Pil Joo (played by Jang Hyuk) is actually her first love Jo In Ho, and begins to open up to Kang Pil Joo more.
“Money Flower” follows Kang Pil Joo and his relationships with those around him, to tell the story of how pure love can overcome money. The drama features Jang Hyuk, Park Se Young, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Soon Jae, Lee Mi Sook as the main characters, and is directed by the same producing director behind “Golden Pouch” and “Glamorous Temptation.” Different from other weekend dramas, “Money Flower” airs two consecutive episodes every Saturday night starting at 8:45 p.m. KST.
