"MIXNINE" Says There Are A Lot Of Ranking Changes In Upcoming Episode

JTBC’s “MIXNINE” started on October 29, with 170 hopefuls. After the first contest, a “position battle,” the number of contestants remaining was 98. Following the “formation battle,” the results of which will be revealed December 31, the number will drop even more.

With the audition program hitting a midway point, the production revealed a couple of things to look out for in the coming episodes: a new top nine, even more fierce competition as the possibility of debut draws nearer, new rivals and competition teams, and unpredictable rankings. Regarding this week’s episode, a source from “MIXNINE” said, “There will be a lot of changes in contestant rankings.”

This week’s episode of “MIXNINE” airs on December 31 at 4:50 p.m. KST, and will reveal the second batch of eliminated contestants as well as the new top nine for male and female contestants.
