"Youn's Kitchen 2" Announces Cancellation Of Upcoming Press Conference

tvN has released an official statement announcing the cancellation of their upcoming press conference for “Youn’s Kitchen 2,” one day before it was scheduled to be held.

Through a press release on January 3, tvN stated, “We are notifying the cancellation of the press conference of ‘Youn’s Kitchen 2,’ which was scheduled to be held on January 4 at 2 p.m. KST. We are extremely apologetic for the change in our schedule. We ask for your understanding”

According to the statement, the cast and crew of “Youn’s Kitchen 2” will be holding a talk segment on a Naver V Live broadcast from 1 p.m. KST on January 4. The event will be attended by Yoon Yeo Jung, Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, and Park Seo Joon, as well as producing director (PD) Na Young Suk, PD Lee Jin Joo, and screenwriter Kim Dae Joo.

Speculation has emerged that the press conference was cancelled due to there also being an event related to tvN drama “Hwayugi” planned at the same time on the same day. The National Union of Mediaworkers revealed that they will be holding a press conference at 2 p.m. KST on January 4 regarding the accident that occurred on the set of “Hwayugi”.

When asked to comment whether the cancellation of the “Youn’s Kitchen 2” press conference was related to the “Hwayugi” press conference, a source from “Youn’s Kitchen 2” stated, “The event was cancelled due to internal matters. It is difficult to speak on anything beyond that.”

Following the V Live broadcast on January 4, “Youn’s Kitchen 2” will premiere on January 5 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
