IU Revealed To Have Treated Whole Restaurant To Meal To Celebrate Golden Disc Awards Win

A cute story was shared about singer IU after she won the Digital Daesang at the 32nd Golden Disc Awards!

On January 11, a post was shared on an online community with the title “IU bought my friend a meal!” The original poster said, “Someone I know went to a BBQ restaurant in Seongsudong, Seoul. She actually ended up sitting at the table next to IU. There were a total of three different groups of people eating at that restaurant, and IU apparently paid for all their meals because she won the Daesang.”

They continued on to write, “It’s nice enough to be able to meet a celebrity, but for them to also buy you a meal.. I’m so jealous.” They also shared a photo of their friend with IU at the restaurant.

In her acceptance speech, IU had said, “I want to thank my team, let’s go out for a meal.” It looks like that meal did take place after the Golden Disc Awards and the singer covered everyone’s tabs at the restaurant because she wanted to celebrate her win.
