Jung Yong Hwa Kicks Off Solo Concert Tour, Apologizes Once Again For Grad School Admission Controversy

On January 20, CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa kicked off his solo concert tour in Seoul.

At the beginning of the concert, following his opening performance, the singer took some time to apologize once again for the recent controversy regarding his admission to graduate school by alleged preferential treatment.

He said, “First, I’m so sorry. I went back and forth a lot on whether I should do this concert. But [this concert] is a promise that I made with all of you, so I’ll do my best to the end to give you happiness. I’m sure that [what happened weighs on you, too], but thank you all for coming. I’ve prepared a lot, and I hope you can return home with good energy from me today.”
