Watch: Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon Fulfills An Item From Her Bucket List
Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon was able to cross of an item from her bucket list, thanks to her growing English skills.
On the January 22 episode of tvN’s “My English Puberty” (literal translation), Hyoyeon went to meet famous Swedish composers Daniel Caesar and Ludwig Lindell, who made hit songs like Girls’ Generation’s “All Night,” Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor,” and Super Junior M’s “Swing.”
With a racing heart and a pretty cake in hand, she headed towards the studio. She commented, “I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it or not, but it’s my dream to produce music with a foreign composer. I’m studying composing nowadays, and I want to gain a small tip or know-how from these people.”
Hyoyeon asked Daniel Caesar what he was thinking when he composed ‘All Night,’ and he replied, “I wanted to make music that was overflowing with energy. The reason I [first] made a K-pop song was because of Girls’ Generation.” His answer caused her to smile in satisfaction.
Hyoyeon, who had wanted to see for herself how these veterans produced, was able to witness a part of the process right in front of her eyes. Check it out for yourself as well!
