Red Velvet's Joy Shares How She's Preparing For Her New Drama Role
On January 29, Red Velvet held a showcase for the release of their repackaged album “The Perfect Red Velvet.” The girl group broadcasted the event through Naver’s V Live with Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon as the MC.
During the Q&A session, Red Velvet members answered fan-submitted questions. One fan asked Joy about the filming of MBC’s upcoming drama “Love Game.”
“Love Game” is a romance drama based on the well-known French novel “Dangerous Liaisons” and Joy and Woo Do Hwan have been confirmed as leads.
Joy answered, “We are still in the middle of filming. I was an innocent and cute student in my debut drama ‘The Liar and His Lover,’ but now I’m playing a smart, snobby elite person who studied abroad in Germany and is a student at a prestigious university.”
She shyly confessed, “But honestly, I’m not really like an elite person. So these days, I’m trying hard to be articulate and smart.”
Red Velvet released their comeback track “Bad Boy” on January 29 at 6 p.m. Watch the MV here!
