Jung Hye Sung Shares How Close Cast Members Of "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" And "Chief Kim" Still Are

During an interview to mark the end of her latest drama, SBS’s “Oh, the Mysterious,” the actress talked about maintaining friendships with people she’s worked with on projects like “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” and “Chief Kim.”

Jung Hye Sung stated, “The ‘Chief Kim’ team is still very close, we’re actually having a first anniversary party on February 5. We’ve even made reservations at a pension. The cast and crew are all coming, and almost everyone said they’ll be able to make it. Unfortunately, Dong Ha and Im Hwa Young won’t be able to come due to conflicting schedules. Both our directors are coming. I think the most active group chat I’m a part of is the ‘Chief Kim’ one.”

Revealing that she had been the one to come up with the idea of a first anniversary party for “Chief Kim,” Jung Hye Sung added, “We had the same kind of party of ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.’ So I made the suggestion to our ‘Chief Kim’ director and things started from there.” She also stated that 2PM’s Junho, who she’d worked with on the drama, had sent her a coffee truck on the set of “Oh, the Mysterious” to show his support.

She also talked about the strong friendship between the “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” cast as she said, “The ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ group chat is still pretty active too. We send each other a lot of support. When I won an award [at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards], Park Bo Gum was there at the event and he immediately sent me a congratulatory message, and I met up with Kim Yoo Jung recently. I recently spoke with Chae Soo Bin as well and told her that I loved her shorter hair.”

Jung Hye Sung starred in SBS’s “Oh, the Mysterious” alongside Yoon Kyun Sang, and the drama came to an end on January 30.
