BLACKPINK's Jisoo, GOT7's Jinyoung, And NCT's Doyoung Bid Farewell To "Inkigayo" In Final Episode As Hosts
On the February 4 episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo,” hosts BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, GOT7’s Jinyoung, and NCT’s Doyoung said their farewells to the show.
The three idols have been hosting the show since February 5, 2017, meaning that they’ve been hosting for almost exactly a year.
Doyoung said, “I was happy to be able to meet you all every week through ‘Inkigayo.’ Soon we will comeback with a new and better image, so please look forward to it. I’d also like to thank my co-hosts for taking care of their youngest member and all the staff who worked hard.”
Jisoo said, “Thank you to the fans for cheering on JinJiDo for a year. I’m also grateful to the PD, who made it possible for us to be here, and Jinyoung and Doyoung as well.”
Jinyoung said, “Thank you to the viewers who stayed with us for a year. Thank you to the fans of all three of us. I will go and thank the staff separately. It’s like winning first place.”
Later Jisoo shared her feelings on both Instagram and through her agency YG Entertainment. Through the agency she said, “Thank you for watching over and cheering on MC Chu [Jisoo] for a year. In the future, BLACKPINK will show a better side of themselves so let’s stay together. I’ll see you soon.”
On Instagram she wrote, “I was sad that the one-year anniversary of JinJiDo was also our last day, but I’m happy that we were able to stay for a year. Thank you to PD Jo Moon Jo, who led JinJiDo very well.” She also thanked several other members of the staff by name. “Thank you to the staff and camera directors who were very supportive of JinJiDo. Thank you to BLINKs, who came from afar even when the weather was bad, I love you. You always gave me strength.”
She concluded, “I will return as BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, so please look forward to it.”
