Red Velvet's Joy Parodies Jun Ji Hyun's Iconic "My Sassy Girl" Scene In "Tempted"
Red Velvet’s Joy channels her inner Jun Ji Hyun in her upcoming MBC drama “Tempted”!
In newly released stills from the drama, Joy and co-star Jung Ha Dam parody Jun Ji Hyun and Cha Tae Hyun’s classic scene from the hit movie “My Sassy Girl.” In an homage to the iconic moment in which the film’s two leads flashed their ID cards to prove that they were of age, Joy and Jung Ha Dam wear their coolest expressions as they proudly demonstrate that they are now legal adults.
In “Tempted,” the two actresses will be playing college freshmen who have just become legal adults—and therefore couldn’t be prouder of their new age.
Joy will be playing the role of Eun Tae Hee, a tough girl who isn’t easily swayed by men, while Jung Ha Dam will be playing her best friend Go Gyung Joo, a high-achieving but insecure student with zero dating experience.
“Tempted” will tell the story of reckless young men and women getting caught up in a dangerous game of love and seduction, including the rakishly charming Kwon Shi Hyun (played by Woo Do Hwan), who becomes determined to seduce Eun Tae Hee.
The drama, which premieres on March 12, will be available with English subtitles on Viki!
