'Grand Prince' Drops Beautiful Traditional Painting-Style Posters Of The Cast

Upcoming period drama “Grand Prince” has released new posters of its principal cast.

The posters, released on March 1, are done in a traditional painting style to reflect the Joseon Dynasty era in which the drama is set. “Grand Prince” tells the story of two royal brothers (Joo Sang Wook and Yoon Shi Yoon) who fight for the love of a single woman (Jin Se Yeon).

Yoon Shi Yoon exudes the aura of a courtly gentleman in his traditional hat and hanbok, while his tagline reads, “Why haven’t I given up? Because of you… In order to return to you.”

Despite Jin Se Yeon’s bright smile in her poster, her tagline reads ominously, “To find your grave and be buried with you was my final wish.”

Ryu Hyoyoung, who is taking on her first period drama role in “Grand Prince,” plays the ambitious Yoon Na Kyum, who desires power over love. Her character resents that she was born as the second daughter of a large family, limiting her chances at rising to a high position in society. Her poster’s tagline perfectly reflects her mindset: “Even if you have love, if you have no power, you’ll die. Just like an insect.”

“Grand Prince” premieres on March 3 and will be available on Viki. Check out the trailer below!
