Lee Sang Yeob Shares He Received Variety Show Offers After Appearing On "Running Man"

It appears Lee Sang Yeob has appeared on the radars of many variety shows.

In the previous episode of “Running Man,” Lee Sang Yeob was urgently cast on the spot when the cast members divided into teams and were told to call guests to go on a trip with them for the “Global Random Tour” special. HaHa, Song Ji Hyo, and Lee Kwang Soo formed one of the teams and set off for Daema Island with Lee Sang Yeob.

Despite being asked to join mere hours before they took off, the actor easily agreed to go on the trip with the team members. His laid-back personality made him a constant target throughout the episode, and his bickering with Lee Kwang Soo boosted ratings. He shared, “Since my appearance on ‘Running Man,’ I’ve gotten a lot of offers for variety shows.” He joked, “I should change the career section on my profile to ‘television personality.'”

After being tricked constantly by Haha, Song Ji Hyo, and particularly Lee Kwang Soo, it appears that Lee Sang Yeob has adjusted perfectly to the many betrayals on the show. The production crew stated, “Lee Sang Yeob’s unpredictable variety show sense allowed for him to surpass Lee Kwang Soo. A few times, even we got goosebumps.”

Lee Sang Yeob will also appear in the second part of the “Global Random Tour,” which will air on March 11 at 4:50 p.m. KST.
