Han Ye Ri Shows A Softer Side To Her Character On 'Switch'

SBS’s upcoming drama “Switch” has released stills of Han Ye Ri tearing up in spite of her usually strong character.

In the drama, Han Ye Ri plays the role of an enthusiastic prosecutor Oh Ha Ra who goes by the motto “Move forward now and think later.” She is a confident, capable woman whom no barriers can stop.

The released stills, however, show Han Ye Ri looking into space and slightly tearing up. In her usual short hair and a formal suit, she has her arms firmly crossed as she stands outside. Because Oh Ha Ra is generally bright, bold, and full of confidence, this soft side to her casts a new light on her character.

The said scene was shot on February 25 in Yangpyeong County. While Han Ye Ri spent time listening to the instructions carefully, she also cheered up the staff by giving them a big smile every once in a while. After discussing the scene with the director, the actress stepped up to the set and immediately began tearing up once the cameras began rolling, surprising onlookers.

Han Ye Ri has reportedly been boosting energy to the set with her constant smiles and positive attitude. Although the scene was short, she remained committed and tried her best to give it her all.

The production staff of “Switch” shared, “Han Ye Ri has been fully portraying the bold, confident character of Oh Ha Ra. Since being cast she really feels like Oh Ha Ra herself.” They also asked viewers to look forward to the reason why Oh Ha Ra became so emotional.

“Switch” featuring Jang Geun Suk and Han Ye Ri premieres on March 28 at 10 p.m. KST. You can watch it on Viki!
