BLACKPINK Announces First Arena Tour In Japan
BLACKPINK will be embarking on their first Japanese arena tour!
On March 27, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK will go on tour in three cities for a total of six concerts in Japan. The tour will start at the Osaka-jō Hall in Osaka on July 24 and a total of 66,000 fans are expected to attend the tour.
BLACKPINK made a successful debut in Japan. Last July, BLACKPINK held their Japanese debut showcase and sold out 15,000 tickets to the event and reached No. 1 on Oricon Charts with their debut album “BLACKPINK.”
YG Entertainment said, “BLACKPINK took off as a top K-pop girl group in Japan even before they reached their first debut anniversary in Japan. Since this is their first live tour there, they will most likely receive lots of attention.”
BLACKPINK is also preparing to make a comeback in Korea this year and recently finished recording their upcoming album.
