Kim Young Kwang and Kim Hae Sook have confirmed their next project!

On August 7, it was confirmed that both actors would join Kim Hee Sun in tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Room No. 9.”

The drama will be revenge story about Jang Hwa Sa (Kim Hae Sook), a femme fatale-criminal, Eul Ji Hae Yi (Kim Hee Sun), a lawyer whose fate has changed, and Ki Yoo Jin (Kim Young Kwang), who holds the key to fate in his hands.

Kim Hee Sun’s role as Eul Ji Hae Yi will see her fawning over those who are strong and completely ignoring those who are weak. She is a rude lawyer with a 100 percent success rate that will do anything to win. Amidst meeting Seung Jin Man, a senior parter from a large law firm, she switches lives with Jang Hwa Sa and faces on the biggest challenge of her life.

Kim Young Kwang will play Ki Yoo Jin, an intelligent and sweet man who hides something beastly behind his eyes.

Kim Hae Sook, one of Korea’s representative actresses, will play the notorious femme fatale on death row, Jang Hwa Sa. She had all of Korea chattering following her “poison murder case,” and has been a prisoner on trial for the longest time, with her death warrant being on hold for 33 years. She is given another chance at life when she wakes up as Eul Ji Hae Yi.

Kim Young Kwang might be starring in tvN’s upcoming drama “Room No. 9.”

On April 3, a source from his agency stated that the actor received an offer for the drama and is positively considering it. He is in talks to play the role of a 34-year-old family physician named Ki Yoo Jin. Actress Kim Hee Sun was previously confirmed to star in the drama as well.

“Room No. 9” is about a lawyer named Eul Ji Hae Yi (played by Kim Hee Sun) whose body is switched with a prisoner residing in room No. 9 of a women’s prison. Ki Yoo Jin is Eul Ji Hae Yi’s lover and will play a critical role in returning her soul back to her body.

The drama is written by Jung Sung Hee, who also wrote “Princess Jamyung” and “The Merchant: Gaekju,” and it will be directed by Ji Young Soo, who previously worked on “Big Man” and “Beating Again.” The drama is slated to air sometime in September.
