Watch: Kim Haon And Lee Byung Jae Deliver Amazing Performances During "High School Rapper 2" Semi-Finals
Kim Haon and Lee Byung Jae showed off their rapping skills in some of the best performances on Mnet’s “High School Rapper 2” yet.
On the April 6 episode of “High School Rapper 2,” the remaining rappers engaged in fierce competition, putting on charismatic performances. According to Nielsen, the episode brought in 2.8 percent viewership ratings for teen viewers, and it also achieved 1.5 to 1.8 percent viewership ratings for viewers in their 30s to 40s, proving the program’s popularity amongst viewers of all ages. The show achieved 2.3 percent peak viewership ratings in Seoul.
The episode showed the performances of the remaining rappers in the semi-finals. The theme for the semi-finals was “Diary,” where the rappers expressed the untold stories of their teen years. The competition was judged solely through audience votes, where they were able to steal the spots and rankings of those performing before them if they received higher votes.
Some of the rappers that performed were Bang Jae Min from Team San E & Cheetah, Park Joon Ho from Team GroovyRoom, Kim Yoon Ho from San E & Cheetah, Yoon Byung Ho from Team Deepflow, and finally from Team San E & Cheetah, Kim Geun Soo. The top five rappers were finalists Yoon Jin Young, Jo Won Woo, Lee Byung Jae, Bae Yeon Seo, and Kim Haon.
Kim Haon took first place with audience votes, Lee Byung Jae was second, Jo Won Woo took third, Bae Yeon Seo made fourth, and Yoon Jin Young was fifth place. The top five rappers will be heading to the final round next week, and the episode is also set to feature rappers Woo Won Jae and Jessi.
