BLACKPINK's "BOOMBAYAH" Becomes Their 1st Music Video To Reach 300 Million Views
BLACKPINK has hit 300 million views on YouTube for the very first time with “BOOMBAYAH”!
“BOOMBAYAH” is one of two tracks that BLACKPINK debuted with on August 8, 2016. The group achieved milestones in impressive time with their “BOOMBAYAH” music video, hitting 100 million for the first time in just six months and 200 million another six months later.
On April 9 at at approximately 1:14 KST, a little over a year and eight months since its release, the music video for “BOOMBAYAH” reached 300 million views.
It is the girl group’s first music video to do so, becoming the sixth K-pop group music video to achieve this feat alongside BIGBANG’s “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang,” BTS’s “DNA” and “Fire,” and TWICE’s “TT.” Notably, it is the first K-pop debut MV to have reached this milestone.
