"The Miracle We Met" Hits Double Digit Ratings + Takes First Place In Time Slot
KBS2’s “The Miracle We Met” has surpassed double digits in viewership ratings to take first place in its time slot.
According to Nielsen Korea, the April 9 episode of “The Miracle We Met” achieved 11.2 percent viewership. This is a 2 percent increase from the previous episode, which recorded 9.2 percent in viewership ratings.
“The Miracle We Met” is a fantasy drama that follows the story of a man who suddenly finds himself living the life of another man with whom he shares nothing in common except the same name and age. “The Miracle We Met” has garnered a lot of interest for being written by Baek Mi Kyung, the same writer behind JTBC’s “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” and “Woman of Dignity.”
SBS’s “Should We Kiss First” recorded 7.9 and 9.3 percent viewership for its April 9 broadcast. “Should We Kiss First” is a realistic melodrama that tells the love stories of men and women in their 40s who are awkward at love. The drama had been consistently topping its time slot, but has now fallen to second place with the airing of “The Miracle We Met.”
Finally, MBC’s “Tempted” of the same time slot took third place, achieving 1.8 and 1.6 percent viewership for its April 9 broadcast. “Tempted” stars Woo Do Hwan and Red Velvet’s Joy in a remake of French novel “Dangerous Liaisons” that tells the story of youths who jump into a game of love and seduction without realizing their entire lives are also on the line.
