BTS's Japanese Album 'Face Yourself' Has Great Success On Billboard 200 As It Makes Debut

BTS’s new Japanese album has taken a spot in the top 50 of the Billboard 200 chart!

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums in the United States. Billboard’s charts for the week ending in April 14 have now been shared, and BTS’s third full Japanese album “Face Yourself” has entered the Billboard 200 at No. 43.

Billboard states that “Face Yourself” earned 12,000 equivalent album units in the week ending in April 5, with 4,000 of those being traditional units. The album has also come in at No. 41 on the Top Albums Sales chart, and No. 1 on the World Albums chart.

It’s a rare achievement for a K-pop artist to have a Japanese album chart on the Billboard 200. BTS now has six albums overall that have entered the Billboard 200, the most among K-pop artists.

BTS is also at No. 2 on the Artist 100 chart this week, and remains at No. 1 on the Social 50 chart.

“Face Yourself” has been a big hit in Japan as well, and recently topped Oricon’s weekly albums chart.

Congratulations to BTS!
