TWICE's "What Is Love?" Becomes Fastest K-Pop Girl Group MV To Reach 20 Million Views
TWICE has broken another record!
The hit girl group released the clever and fun music video for their new song “What Is Love?” on April 9 at 6 p.m. KST. The MV racked up over 12.5 million views in the first 24 hours, breaking TWICE’s personal record for first-day views.
The music video went on to reach 20 million views by April 11 shortly after 5:30 a.m. KST, which is just 35 and a half hours since its release!
This sets a new record among K-pop girl group MVs for the fastest time to 20 million views. The previous record was 47 hours, set by BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last.” The fastest K-pop group MV overall to reach 20 million views is BTS’s “DNA,” which reached the milestone in less than 21 hours.
Congratulations to TWICE!
