MAMAMOO's Moonbyul Confirmed To Make Solo Debut With MV Featuring Red Velvet's Seulgi
MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul is debuting as a soloist!
On April 11, several sources from the industry reported that Moonbyul will be releasing her first solo single in early May. According to these sources, she finished filming her music video yesterday with Red Velvet’s Seulgi.
In response to these reports, a source from MAMAMOO’s agency RBW confirmed that Moonbyul is preparing a solo album. “She filmed a music video with Red Velvet’s Seulgi, but the exact release date has not been determined yet,” said the source.
It was further clarified that the solo album will not come out in early May.
Seulgi, who became close friends with Moonbyul through the variety show “Idol Drama Operation Team,” actually participated in recording the solo track back in January. The song was originally going to be included in MAMAMOO’s album, but it has been chosen as Moonbyul’s official solo debut track instead.
Meanwhile, fellow MAMAMOO member Wheein will be making her own solo debut on April 17.
