MONSTA X's "Spotlight" Certified Gold In Japan

MONSTA X’s latest Japanese release “Spotlight” has officially been certified gold!

On April 12, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that MONSTA X’s Japanese single “Spotlight” had sold over 100,000 copies and received an official gold certification.

“Spotlight,” which was released on January 31, previously topped both Oricon’s and Tower Records’ daily charts in Japan earlier this year.

MONSTA X also recently hit No. 1 on Tower Records’ daily online sales chart with their new mini album “The Connect,” featuring the title track “Jealousy.” Impressively, the group’s combined package set of all four versions of the mini album claimed first place on the list, while the individual versions swept fourth through seventh place.
