Jung Chan Woo From "Cultwo Show" To Take Temporary Hiatus Due To Health Issues
Entertainer and broadcaster Jung Chan Woo will be taking a break from all activities for an undefined period of time.
His agency, Cultwo Entertainment, announced on April 15, “Jung Chan Woo has decided to temporarily halt all broadcast activities for reasons related to his health.”
According to his agency, Jung Chan Woo has suffered from diabetes and tinnitus for a long time, but recently the symptoms had become more severe. When he went to the hospital, he was officially diagnosed with panic disorder.
His agency continued, “Since his debut in 1994, he has worked to bring laughter and joy to the nation for 24 years. But he judged that putting a smiling face over his mental health issues is tantamount to deceiving the public, so he regretfully decided to take a break from his work for now.”
Jung Chan Woo currently works as a host on the SBS Power FM radio show “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show” and KBS’s “Hello Counselor.” He will be stepping down from all of these programs for his hiatus.
