“Running Man” Takes No. 1 In Time Slot With Hilariously Unpredictable Battle
The latest episode of SBS’s “Running Man” achieved high viewership ratings after remaining unpredictable until the very end!
According to Nielsen Korea, the April 15 broadcast of the variety show recorded the highest ratings in its time slot among viewers ages 20 to 49, widely considered the target demographic for television programs.
“Running Man” scored average viewership ratings of 2.7 percent during its first half and 4 percent during its second, while MBC’s “King of Masked Singer” scored ratings of 2.2 percent and 3.1 percent for its two parts. KBS’s “Happy Sunday” programming also recorded ratings of 3.3 percent during the same time slot.

The April 15 episode featured the “Running Man” cast splitting up into two teams and engaging in a vicious battle to steal each other’s possessions. The highest-rated minute of the show came towards the end of the broadcast, with viewership ratings peaking at 8 percent during the moment when one cast member’s fatal error turned the entire competition upside down.
Additionally, Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Jong Kook, who typically entertain “Running Man” viewers with their nonstop bickering, surprised everyone by transforming into the ultimate partners in crime once they ended up on the same team. Meanwhile, Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Da Hee continued to amuse everyone with their unique brand of chemistry, jokingly teasing each other mercilessly throughout the entire episode.
