Son Seung Won Cancels All Interviews After His Father Falls Unconscious

On April 20, Son Seung Won’s agency Blossom Entertainment stated that all interviews scheduled for the actor have been canceled due to his father’s health deterioration.

According to the agency, Son Seung Won’s father fell unconscious in the early morning of April 19. They revealed that while he is slowly recovering, it seems difficult for him to return to his full health immediately. They ultimately made the decision to cancel Son Seung Won’s upcoming schedules.

Son Seung Won originally planned to carry out several interviews following the end of JTBC’s drama “Welcome to Waikiki” on April 17. After his father fell ill, however, he canceled all interviews for the next two weeks. His other schedules are under discussion as well.

In “Welcome to Waikiki,” Son Seung Won played the role of Bong Doo Shik, a freelance scriptwriter with hardly any work. The actor previously appeared in dramas “Healer,” “I Remember You,” and “Age of Youth.”
