SM Entertainment Gives Exciting Details On SMTOWN Museum

SM Entertainment has revealed some photos and details of the SMTOWN Museum opening on May 4!

Located on the third floor of SMTOWN Coex Artium, the SMTOWN Museum is the first K-pop space to combine entertainment, exhibition, technology, and experience. It will consist of nine exhibits, including an MCN Studio, a place to take AR photos with artists, an “SMTOWN Live Beyond Story” exhibit, an SM Archive, an artist gallery, a “special exhibition,” a recording studio, a museum shop, and a “Dreams Come True with NCT” exhibit.

The SM Archive will display the history of SM artists, showcasing the albums, videos, and photobooks from their career. The “SMTOWN Live Beyond Story” exhibit will feature some fantastic performances and behind-the-scene cuts from the SMTOWN Live concerts.

The “special exhibition” will showcase some special features of SM artists, the artist gallery will display performance outfits and props, and the “Dreams Come True with NCT” exhibit will take visitors through the production process of SM artists like NCT.

The SMTOWN Museum will offer some hands-on experience as well. K-pop fans will get to use a karaoke app and record their own singing voice at a recording studio used by SM artists, and they will also get to take photos and film videos with SM artists through augmented reality (AR). As for the MCN Studio, visitors will be able to watch the “!t Live” broadcasts on the “SMTOWN Outer Wall Media,” Korea’s largest outdoor HD screen.
