IU Revealed To Have Made Donation To Aid Children In Need
Once again, IU has made a significant donation to help children in need for Children’s Day (May 5).
In 2015, IU donated 100 million won (approximately $93,000) to help kids from low income families. She also did the same act of kindness this year.
According to ChildFund, IU made the donation under her real name Lee Ji Eun in order to support Korean children in need. They said, “We had to reveal IU’s good deed of her secret donation due to her continuous interest in children. We hope the positive influence of IU will spread the donation culture and that children will have a happy Children’s Day.”
Earlier this year, IU also helped five college students who were having financial difficulties by giving them 20 million won (approximately $19,000) for their tuition and dormitory.
