NCT Becomes First K-Pop Act To Top Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart
NCT has landed a first with their latest Billboard achievement!
The Emerging Artists chart measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50, but it focuses on breakout artists by excluding acts that made an entry within the top 25.
For the week ending on May 5, NCT rose from second to first place on the Emerging Artists chart, marking the first time a K-pop act has ranked No. 1 on the list.
NCT is currently promoting their track “Black on Black” with all 18 members for their latest album “NCT 2018 Empathy.”
