Suzy And Lee Seung Gi In Talks To Reunite Through Upcoming SBS Drama

“Gu Family Book” co-stars Suzy and Lee Seung Gi may be starring in another drama together!

On May 8, a news outlet reported that Suzy has received the offer to star in upcoming SBS drama “Vagabond.”

In response, her agency JYP Entertainment commented, “‘Vagabond’ is one of the projects she is considering. Nothing has been decided yet.” Previously, it was revealed that she is also considering an offer for a drama with Park Bo Gum.

For “Vagabond,” Suzy has been cast in the role of Go Hae Ri, an agent of the National Intelligence Service. She is the daughter of Go Kang Chul, a lieutenant of the Marine Corps, and following his passing, she decides to become a Level 7 civil servant to take responsibility for her family.

“Vagabond” is a spy action drama about an ordinary man who gets involved in a plane crash investigation and begins to dig up information on the country’s corruption. It is written by Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon of “Giant” and “Monster” and directed by Yoo In Shik of “You’re All Surrounded” and “Romantic Doctor Kim.”

Shin Sung Rok has been confirmed to star in the drama, while Lee Seung Gi is still in talks. If Suzy and Lee Seung Gi accept the offers, they will be reuniting in a drama after five years.

“Vagabond” will begin script reading sometime this month and air in the second half of the year via SBS.
