BTS Sweeps iTunes Charts Across The Globe With "Love Yourself: Tear"
Within hours of its release, BTS’s new album “Love Yourself: Tear” has dominated iTunes charts worldwide!
Immediately after BTS released their third full-length album on May 18 at 6 p.m. KST, “Love Yourself: Tear” topped iTunes charts all over the world. As of 6 a.m. KST on May 19, the album had claimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Albums charts in 65 different regions, including the United States, Brazil, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
BTS’s new title track “Fake Love” also swept iTunes charts across the globe. The song took No. 1 in 52 different regions, including Chile, Denmark, and Finland.
Additionally, the music video for “Fake Love” has been shattering YouTube records since its release. Less than 9 hours after its official release on May 18, the video had already set new records for the fastest K-pop group music video to hit 10 million views and 20 million views on YouTube.
“Love Yourself: Tear” has also been performing well domestically, with “Fake Love” topping all major realtime charts in Korea shortly after the album’s release.
