Watch: DAY6 Shares Thoughts On Reaching 1000 Days Since Debut

DAY6 has celebrated the 1000th day since their debut in 2015!

On June 2, the band posted a video of all five members thanking their fans for helping them reach the milestone. Leader Sungjin remarked, “We’ve spent the past 1000 days together with My Day [DAY6’s official fan club], and it’s thanks to all of you that we were able to reach 1000 days. We’re always grateful to you.”

Jae added, “I really wanted to say ‘thank you’ in person, but I’m glad that we were at least able to say it through a video. This is all thanks to you, My Day, so I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Wonpil continued, “The 1000 days we spent together are truly precious, and I’m grateful for them. Let’s keep going for the next 6000 days, the next 10,000 days, and the next 100,000 days!” The other members laughed at the mention of 100,000 days (approximately 274 years), with Sungjin commenting, “Let’s work hard,” and Young K chiming in, “Let’s keep going for a long, long time!”

Young K also pointed out, “My Day’s first birthday is only 5 days away! There’s really so many things to celebrate this June, and thanks to you, I think we’ll be able to enjoy a bountiful June.”

Dowoon said, “So many things have happened up until now, and hearing the phrase ‘1000 days’ makes so many memories flash before my eyes. We’ll work even harder in the future, so let’s keep going until 10,000 days!”
