Wanna One's Yoon Ji Sung Explains Group's Agency Switch And Denies Contract Extension Rumors

On June 3, Wanna One held a press conference for their world tour “ONE: THE WORLD” and their upcoming album “1÷χ=1(UNDIVIDED).”

During the event, the group was asked about their recent move to Swing Entertainment from YMC Entertainment.

In response, the leader Yoon Ji Sung commented, “The reason that our agency switched is because a company was established to fully and actively support Wanna One ahead of our world tour and remaining albums. YMC is also still helping out.”

As many brought up contract extension rumors following the establishment of Swing Entertainment, Yoon Ji Sung clarified, “We have never talked about a contract extension. We are just focusing on our upcoming world tour.”

The Seoul stop of Wanna One’s world tour will conclude on June 3 at Gocheok Sky Dome. After short promotions for the group’s album release on June 4, they will embark on the rest of their world tour starting in late June.
