Watch: Apink's Jung Eun Ji And IU Participate In 2018 Ice Bucket Challenge
Recently Apink’s Jung Eun Ji tagged IU in the 2018 ice bucket challenge.
Jung Eun Ji was tagged by WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon earlier this week. On June 3, she posted a video on her personal Instagram of herself participating in the challenge at her agency. She then tagged IU, comedian Kim Shin Young, Microdot, and Shim So Young.
In her caption, she wrote, “I’ve participated in the ice bucket challenge! It’s a meaningful challenge and I want to do it with four more friends. Please support the ice bucket challenge and have a good day. See you all in 24 hours!”

A few hours later, IU responded by posting her own participation video on Instagram. In the video, she called out actress Kang Han Na (her co-star in “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo”), lyricist Kim Eana, and singer Sun Woo Jung Ah.
IU said, “I hope that this can be even a little bit of help to Lou Gehrig patients and their families and those who are helping to build hospitals for their convalescence. To those who are watching this video, please support the Lou Gehrig recuperation hospital effort as well.”
The 2018 ice bucket challenge among Korean celebrities is inspired by the Seungil Hope Foundation, who is currently building South Korea’s first hospital devoted to patients suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease (also known as ALS).
