BTS's "Love Yourself: Tear" Continues To Chart High On Billboard 200 For 2nd Week
BTS’s new album “Love Yourself: Tear” continues to make history on the Billboard charts!
After setting a new record last week by becoming the first-ever K-pop artist to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart, BTS continued to perform well on the chart for the second consecutive week. According to Billboard, “Love Yourself: Tear” has managed to remain on the chart at No. 6 for the week of June 3 to June 9.
Notably, BTS’s ranking for this week marks only the third time in history that a K-pop artist has entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200: the first was in September 2017, when BTS took No. 7 on the chart with “Love Yourself: Her,” and the second was BTS’s record-breaking No. 1 with “Love Yourself: Tear” last week.
BTS’s latest title track “Fake Love” also made history last week, when it debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart at No. 10—the highest ranking ever achieved by a K-pop group.
The official rankings for this week’s Hot 100, as well as Billboard’s other charts, will be released on June 5.
Congratulations to BTS on another impressive achievement!
