May Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of 100 idol groups using data from May 1 to May 31.
On the wings of their hugely successful comeback, BTS topped the list this month with a total score of 28,967,969, a 144.99 percent increase from last month. Wanna One came in second place with a total score of 19,324,655, an increase of 7.45 percent from last month, while EXO came in third place with a score of 6,749,586, a 7.70 percent increase from last month.
In terms of girl groups, TWICE and BLACKPINK rounded out the top five with scores of 6,220,089 and 4,338,629 respectively. In particular, BLACKPINK saw their score rise 41.49 percent from last month, likely on the strength of the news of their first comeback in almost a year.
