Wanna One Shares Thoughts On Seeing An Increase In Male Fans
Wanna One talked about how it feels to see their number of male fans increasing!
On the June 5 episode of the SBS radio show “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time,” Wanna One members Ong Seong Woo, Lee Dae Hwi, Bae Jin Young, Park Ji Hoon, and Lai Guan Lin appeared as guests.
During the show, a male fan sent in a question asking the members if they realize how many male fans they have. Host Choi Hwa Jung said that there were many Wanna One fans in the lobby of the SBS building, including a lot of male fans. She asked them if they’ve realized the increasing size of their male fanbase.
Bae Jin Young replied, “Yes, when we perform, we hear the cheers that are like something in the military. It gives me a lot of strength and energizes me. I really love the hyungs.”
Ong Seong Woo added, “It makes me really happy, being a group that can be loved by people of all genders and ages is really meaningful.”
Wanna One made a comeback on June 4 with a new mini album featuring the title track “Light” and four unit songs.
