Watch: New Variety Show Starring Kang Ho Dong, Super Junior's Shindong, And Block B's P.O. Shares Teaser Clip

tvN’s new variety show “The Great Escape” has released a teaser trailer!

Produced by producing director (PD) Jung Jong Yeon who has created shows like “The Genius” and “Society Game,” “The Great Escape” is a game show where the cast members have to work together to escape a secret room. The cast includes Kang Ho Dong, Kim Jong Min, Super Junior’s Shindong, Block B’s P.O., Yoo Byung Jae, and MMA fighter Kim Dong Hyun.

The teaser begins by showing the meeting the members had four days before they began filming the show. As the PD tries to explain what the show is about, Kang Ho Dong cuts in and says, “Do I have to listen to all these details? Don’t we just dive right in?” to which other members agree. “It’s not that new, right?” Kang Ho Dong adds jokingly.

The clip then moves on to show the actual day of filming. The members are blindfolded as they walk up the stairs and soon have to clear a series of missions to make their escape. As he struggles to open a locked cabinet, Kang Ho Dong asks, “Is it okay to do it by force?” When Yoo Byung Jae says it’s all right, Kang Ho Dong immediately pulls open the cabinet door.

The teaser comes to an end when Kang Ho Dong asks, “Is this what ‘The Genius’ was like?” Yoo Byung Jae hilariously replies, “They did it cooler than this.”

“The Great Escape” is set to premiere on July 1 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
