Yoon Kyun Sang Confirmed To Join Kim Yoo Jung And Song Jae Rim In New Drama As Male Lead

Yoon Kyun Sang has decided on his next project!

After news of his casting offer, the actor has been confirmed to take on the lead role in JTBC’s “Clean with Passion for Now” as of June 11. This will be his first drama since “Oh, the Mysterious.”

“Clean with Passion for Now” is about two complete opposites: Gil Oh Sol (Kim Yoo Jung), someone who prioritizes life over cleanliness, and Jang Sun Kyul, the CEO of a large cleaning company. It is based on a popular web comic series of the same name. Song Jae Rim will also be starring in the drama as mysterious love rival Choi Goon, a character not found in the original work.

Yoon Kyun Sang will be playing “cleaning fairy” Jang Sun Kyul. He believes that cleaning is his lifelong calling and noble duty. While blessed with good looks, wealth, and brains, Jang Sun Kyul has severe mysophobia, which he utilizes to catapult his company to success. He meets his match in Gil Oh Sol, who turns his world upside-down.

Ahn Hyo Seop was originally lined up for the part of Jang Sun Kyul, but had to step down due to scheduling conflicts with another drama after “Clean with Passion for Now” was postponed due to Kim Yoo Jung’s health.

The producers of the drama expressed, “You will be able to see a new side to Yoon Kyun Sang through Sun Kyul. We will greet viewers with a fun, heartwarming drama that is full of youthful, optimistic energy, so please look forward to it.”

“Clean with Passion for Now” is set to premiere in November.
