10 K-Beauty Products We Swear By For The Summer
The hot and humid weather can either be your friend or worst nightmare when it comes to your skin. Some people have a hard time adjusting to the warmer temperatures and have to completely change their skincare and makeup routines in order to make sure their skin doesn’t get too oily or sensitive.
So in light of the hot weather, here are 10 K-beauty products that will hopefully help you get through the summer season!
The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer
During the summer months, I try to refrain from putting too many make-up products on my face. I usually like to put some foundation and concealer on, but because of the high possibility that I’ll sweat throughout the day, I like to put just apply a thin layer of concealer. My go-to concealer for the past couple years has been The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer. It’s a popular concealer in Korea as it’s got high coverage and it applies super smooth!
If you start at the center of your face and use a brush or cushion to spread the concealer outwards on your face, you’ll have more than enough coverage. Best of all, you won’t feel like you caked on a bunch of layers of make-up on your face!
Soroci Morning Drizzle Buket Mist
If you’re spending your day indoors with the air conditioning blasting, your face is susceptible to getting pretty dry. On days where I know I’m going to spend most of my days indoors in air conditioned facilities, I like to use Soroci’s Morning Mist to provide that extra layer of hydration but to also cool my face down when it’s a hot day outside.
It provides not only moisture onto your skin, but it gives a smooth canvas for you to apply the next steps of your skincare routine. You’ll notice a big difference!

The COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask
One of the things I love to do during the hot summer months is to pamper myself at the end of a long day. I usually put a handful of face masks in the fridge during the summer, and before I go to bed, I like to cool my face down with a refreshing mask. The mask I find that provides the best cooling effect as well as add that much-needed moisturize to my face is the COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask.
Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder
When the sun is shining and it’s super humid outside, the last thing you need for your face to produce is extra sebum. Extra sebum can clog your pores, which can lead to blackheads and acne. We definitely don’t want these things to put a dent in our summer! One of the best products to use after you are done applying your make-up is the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder.
Although it comes with a powder puff, I like to use a big blush brush to apply it all over my face, focusing on my T-zone for the summer (it tends to get a bit more oily in that area in the summer). It’ll be a lifesaver, and you won’t look like you’re a greaseball by the end of the day!
Another mineral powder that I’ve also been using is the Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder. This not only keeps excess sebum off bay, but it’s got an amazingly sweet and fresh scent!
The Face Shop Oil Blotting Paper
If you ever forget to set your make-up with the powder, a good item to have in your purse or bag is a pack of blot sheets. There’s a plethora of K-beauty lines that carry great blot sheets, but I prefer The Face Shop Oil Blotting Paper. It’s got a thin texture to it, and I feel like it works the best for me when I have excess oil forming on my forehead or nose. One pack of these also goes a long way. For the price, you really can’t go wrong!
Make P:rem Capsule Sun Gel
I am absolutely in love with this sunscreen. We all know that the sun is not the best thing for your skin, which is why it’s important to protect it in the summer months. Sunscreen is a necessity and must-need item in your skincare routine and one that I try to never skip. The Make P:rem Capsule Sun Gel has been a staple in my routine as of late, mainly because it helps moisturize my dry skin, and it doesn’t have that white cast that some sunscreen tend to leave behind on your face. It’s also got an amazing SPF of 50.
Hera’s Sensual Tint
Jun Ji Hyun has been the model and spokesperson for Hera for awhile now, so when she made an appearance wearing this particular lip tint from the Sensual Tint line, it was obviously going to become a bestseller.
The specific color that she is seen wearing at the Gentle Monster event was Tender Rose (No. 104).
Bouquet Garni Fragranced Tint Lip Balm
If you’re looking for a subtle and moisturizing lip balm to to add a little color to your lips that is very affordable, the Bouquet Garni Fragranced Tint Lip Balm has been my favorite to use this spring and summer. I like it mainly because I have a tendency to get very chapped lips, and this not only adds color, but it also keeps my lips moisturized! It comes in several different colors, but the peach color has been my go-to.
Too Cool For School Artclass by Rodin Contour Palette
If you’re interested in looking like you have a natural glow for the summer, the Too Cool For School Contouring Palette is a staple. You won’t need another contouring product once you try this one. It’s not only a quality product, but the cost of it is super affordable.

Skin Food Argan Oil Silk Hair Essence
If you’re one of those people who gets frizzy hair when the weather is humid, there is an answer to help tame it. A little of the Skin Food Argan Oil Hair Essence goes a long way. Right after you wash your hair, apply a little amount to your hair and work it in. After you style/dry your hair, you’ll notice your hair is shinier and smoother.
