'Scandal Makers' Star Wang Suk Hyun To Return To Acting Through First Drama In 5 Years

Wang Suk Hyun will be returning to acting soon!

On June 14, Wang Suk Hyun’s representatives announced that he will be making a drama comeback through SBS’s “I’m 30 But 17” (working title). He’ll be playing the role of the younger version of actor Yoon Sun Woo’s character Hyung Tae, who was madly in love with Shin Hye Sun‘s character Woo Seo Ri when they were young and has a unique personality and a pure heart.

“Wang Suk Hyun is returning to acting in earnest with this work,” stated his representatives. “Filming has already begun. He filmed his first ever action scene, and although he had injuries such as a crack in his rib, he is working hard at his performance.”

Wang Suk Hyun was born in 2003, and became a beloved child actor particularly through his starring role in the hit 2008 film “Scandal Makers” alongside Park Bo Young and Cha Tae Hyun. He went on to also appear in dramas, with his latest work being “AD Genius Lee TaeBaek” in 2013.

He recently returned to the small screen through the tvN reality show “Leaving the Nest 3,” and his former co-star Park Bo Young shared her thoughts on seeing him so grown up when she was on a radio show.
