Watch: "Produce 48" Teases More Drama In Preview For Next Episode

“Produce 48” has released another preview for the second episode!

The clip begins by showing the trainees from Stone Music Entertainment, who previously competed on “Idol School.” Other trainees are heard questioning, “Why are they competing again?” and “Is this fair?”

The preview then shows the auditions of Matsui Jurina and Miyawaki Sakura, the most well-known Japanese contestants. The mentors comment, “Your expressions are too strong,” “It was below my expectations,” “I can’t even evaluate this,” and, “I don’t think it’s okay for us to go easy on them because they’re good compared to the other Japanese contestants.”

The next scene features the contestants learning the theme song, and those in the A level are seen struggling.

The video also teases some of the strict criticism from the mentors.

The second episode of “Produce 48” will air on June 22 at 11 p.m. KST.
