Gong Yoo Shares Whether He'd Return To "Goblin" If There Was A 2nd Season

On June 24, Gong Yoo attended an event in Taiwan and greeted approximately 1,000 fans who came to see him.

The actor has been enjoying a break since the conclusion of tvN’s hit drama “Goblin” in January 2017. As it has been approximately one year and five months since his last work, many are curious to know when he will be returning with a new project.

When asked about his future plans, Gong Yoo replied, “I hope to greet everyone again with a good project soon, whether it’s with a movie or a drama,” and “I’m being very careful and thorough in choosing a new project because I received so much love through ‘Goblin.'” He added a promise to fans to return soon by stating, “I actually spoke with my agency before flying here about my next project.”

Gong Yoo was also asked if he would consider playing his character from “Goblin” again if the drama returned for a second season. He hesitated slightly and said, “There probably aren’t plans for a second season, but if there were and I received an offer, I don’t see any reason for me to say no.”
