News Anchor Park Yoo Ra Announces Marriage + Talks About Reaction From Her Brother EXO's Chanyeol

News anchor Park Yoo Ra, who is also the older sister of EXO’s Chanyeol, is getting married!

On June 27, it was announced that she is getting married this fall in Seoul. Her fiancée, who is three years older, also works in media, and the two dated for about a year after being introduced to each other.

Born in 1989, Park Yoo Ra has been a news anchor for YTN since 2016.

In an interview following the news, Park Yoo Ra commented, “I am very thankful as I have received an overwhelming amount of congratulatory messages, and I am happily preparing for my wedding thanks to much consideration from my company (YTN).”

She continued, “Meeting my fiancée is the best thing that I have done and the greatest blessing of my life. I tend to have lots of emotional ups and downs, but he brings me comfort as I feel at ease even by being with him for five minutes.”

When asked about the reaction from Chanyeol on the good news, she shared, “Since he has lots of schedules abroad, he hasn’t met my fiancée yet,” and added, “My younger brother didn’t have as much of a reaction as expected.”
