MOMOLAND's Nayun To Temporarily Halt All Activities Due To Inner Ear Disorder
MOMOLAND’s agency has announced that Nayun will be taking a break from all activities due to an inner ear disorder.
On July 1, MLD Entertainment released an official statement revealing that Nayun was suffering from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), a disorder that causes episodes of dizziness. The agency also explained that Nayun would be going on a temporary hiatus to focus on treatment.
The statement began, “Hello, this is MLD Entertainment. We sincerely thank everyone who has given their love to MOMOLAND.”
The agency continued, “Recently, MOMOLAND member Nayun complained of dizziness, and while undergoing examinations at the hospital, she received a diagnosis of BPPV. Although Nayun herself has expressed a strong determination to participate in MOMOLAND’s activities, because Nayun’s health is our top priority, we decided that she would focus entirely on treatment.
“Not only Nayun, but the other MOMOLAND members and all employees of our agency will do our utmost to ensure that Nayun makes a speedy recovery.
“Due to these circumstances, MOMOLAND will be promoting as 8 members (Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Daisy, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy) for the time being. We ask that the group’s fans cheer her on so that Nayun can quickly recover and return to MOMOLAND. We apologize for giving you cause to worry. Thank you.”
We wish Nayun the best and hope that she makes a speedy recovery!
