"Produce 48" Contestant Matsui Jurina Leaves The Show And Goes On Hiatus

SKE48 member and “Produce 48” contestant Matsui Jurina is stepping down from the show and her other scheduled activities.

On July 7, an official source from SKE48 (sister group of AKB48) stated, “Matsui Jurina will halt all promotional activities for now and take some time off to recover. She will also take a break from answering personal fan messages and social media.”

Matsui Jurina was also a contestant on the Mnet survival program “Produce 48.” A source from Mnet told TV Daily shortly after the announcement by SKE48 that the idol would be leaving the show and would no longer be participating in recordings from now on.
