Highlight's Lee Gikwang, WINNER's Lee Seung Hoon, And Hoya To Be Coaches On Dance Variety Show

Highlight’s Lee Gikwang, WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon, and Hoya (Lee Howon) will be sharing their dance expertise through a new variety program!

On June 11, KBS2’s “Dancing High” (literal title) confirmed the final line-up of dance coaches that will appearing. The upcoming variety show will be the first program in Korea that will feature the best teen dancers battling it out in various dance battles.

A source from the show shared, “We feel confident as Lee Gikwang, Lee Howon, and Lee Seung Hoon will be joining Just Jerk and Lia Kim as dance coaches. We hope you will look forward to seeing how each of the coaches will lead these teens with their distinct individualities as well as the passionate teens themselves.”

During pre-broadcast interviews with the producers, Lee Gikwang, Hoya, and Lee Seung Hoon shared their personal philosophies when it comes to dance.

Emphasizing the importance of practice, Lee Gikwang commented, “I want to meet teen dancers who approach dance with sincerity and earnestly try hard with the goal of winning.” Hoya expressed, “I wish to help teens who are beginning their dance [journey] find the direction they should go in.”

Recalling how he practiced on the streets as a teen, Lee Seung Hoon said, “I want to create ‘an eye-opening opportunity’ for them to improve their skills.” He added, “It feels a lot like I am appearing as a YG representative.”

“Dancing High” is set to premiere sometime in September.
