GOT7 Shares Secrets Fans Might Not Know And More On "Good Day New York"
GOT7 made an exciting appearance on “Good Day New York” while they’re in town for their concert!
On the July 11 episode of the popular morning news show, GOT7 sat down for an interview and first talked about their upcoming show at the Barclays Center that evening.
BamBam said, “It’s our second concert in New York and it’s really good to be back here.” He shared that they’re excited to be performing on a larger stage this time around, after they first performed in New York in 2016. The guys promised different and special songs at their concert!
When GOT7 was asked to talk about themselves and tell fans something they might not know, Mark said, “This is really hard because we’re really honest to our fans, so they know everything. We open up to them a lot.”
Mark said that fans might not know that he has stitches on his chin and his forehead, which he got from riding bicycles and playing around when he was a child. “We didn’t even know that!” said Jackson.
Jinyoung was next and he pointed out that he has scratches on his arms, and shared that he doesn’t say “I love you” a lot because he feels awkward and nervous. However, after some encouragement from the others, he said to their fans through the camera, “I love you guys.”
Jackson revealed that he loves bubble baths and yoga, and Yugyeom expressed his love for iced chocolate drinks.
JB laughed as he shared the secret that he’s currently missing a tooth because he’s going to be getting an implant. “No one knows that!” he said.
During BamBam’s turn, he said that a lot of people don’t know that BamBam is his real name and not a nickname. He shared that his mother had given it to him because of the cartoon character of the same name in “The Flintstones.” BamBam said, “He used to be a strong kid, and my mom was like, ‘I want my son to be strong too!’ So she named me BamBam.”
Last up was Youngjae, who laughed as he said that his secret is that he recently bought a Bruno Mars record but he doesn’t have a turntable to play it on.

In June, GOT7 fans launched a social media campaign to encourage “Good Day New York” to invite the group while they’re in New York for their “Eyes on You” world tour. The campaign was a huge success, leading to their appearance today! During the show, the hosts thanked GOT7’s fans, and the members talked about how they’d seen it and taken part as well by tweeting.
They then went on to teach the hosts some of their choreography to “Look“!
GOT7 is a seven-member boy group under JYP Entertainment, who made their debut in 2014 and most recently released their eighth mini album “Eyes on You” in March. Its title track “Look” topped realtime charts in Korea, while “Eyes on You” took No. 1 on many international iTunes album charts and came in No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart.
