Chungha Expresses Gratitude To Baek Yerin For Writing Track On New Album

Chungha expressed her gratitude to Baek Yerin for writing a song for her new album.

On July 18, Chungha held a showcase to celebrate the release of her third mini album “Blooming Blue.” On this day, Chungha opened up about her experience working with Baek Yerin on the track “From Now On.”

Chungha said, “Baek Yerin and I were actually friends back when I used to be a JYP Entertainment trainee. We lost contact but we were able to reconnect by chance. She told me, ‘I’m so happy that you’re doing so well, and I’m so happy that I get to give you a song I wrote that I have a lot of affection for.'” She continued to state, “The first song I finished recording was ‘From Now On.’ I want to take this opportunity to thank her once again.”

“Blooming Blue” is Chungha’s third mini album that will show how much she has grown and gained confidence. The title track “Love U” has a tropical sound and is a summer song that perfectly blends a beautiful melody and Chungha’s unique voice. The mini album was released on July 18 at 6 p.m. KST, check out the music video for “Love U”!
